Tamil Nadu Olympic Association (TNOA) is responsible for organizing various State level tournaments in coordination with other Tamilnadu State Sports Organization and Government of Tamilnadu. The Association was formed in the year 1979 under the Societies Act with Reg. No.106 of 1979. B.Sivanthi Adithan was the first president and R. Subarayan was the secretary who were served in early days. TNOA is an affiliated member of Indian Olympic Association.
