From 2007 to 2021, she organized and led the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory at the Scientific Research Institute of Medical Rehabilitation. From 2021 to 2023, she served as the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, and from 2023 to 2024, she was the General Director of the institute.

In 2013, Huseynova founded and chaired the Public Union "For a Healthy Life". In 2024, she founded and chaired the "Azerbaijan Migraine Specialists" Public Association. She actively participates in public health events and promotes awareness about neurological conditions.
