Doe Maar (released 1979) is the first studio album by Dutch band Doe Maar. The only reference to the name of the band is in the following text on the back: "Doe Maar is Carel Copier, Piet Dekker, Jan Hendriks en Ernst Jansz." (transl. "Doe Maar is Carel Copier, Piet Dekker, Jan Hendriks, and Ernst Jansz")
The album, with guest contributions from Massada percussionists Nippy Noya and Zeth Mustamu, sold 2000 copies. The single Ik zou het willen doen was promoted with a performance in Op Volle Toeren, and reached the top charts in 1980.
At the time, a reviewer from Muziek Expres wrote "I don't see that this group shall leave a positive contribution on the future of pop music".
