Johnny Mac Powell (born December 25, 1972) is the lead singer of the Christian rock band Third Day. He helped create the band Third Day with guitarist Mark Lee. Mac Powell lives in Georgia with his family. Third Day won a Grammy for Best Christian Album.
Solo Career
In 2007, Mac Powell had a single without his band Third Day on the compilation album Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship called "By His Wounds", a song which also features the Christian artists Steven Curtis Chapman, Brian Littrell (formerly of the Backstreet Boys) and Mark Hall.
On the same compilation album, Powell also had a single called Restore To Me" which was a duet with Candi Pearson-Shelton.
