::: Current name? Like ] in ], ja? As I see that it is really hard for at least two of you to spell the 8-letter word '']n'' in the article name correctly (the other two don't even dare to make an attempt), I'll have mercy. Just a reminder. --Matthead 23:53, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
And what is justification for this absurd renaming ? What next ? People born in Warsaw/Warschau ? --Molobo 00:36, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- How about reading? --Matthead 00:42, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
- Oh sure, List of famous people born in Gdańsk-Danzig but "Teutonic takeover of Danzig" with Danzig only! Some nice ultranationalist consistency. Space Cadet (talk) 16:20, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
Name
This should be List of people born in Gdańsk or List of people from Gdańsk, obviously. Or, for the sake of political correctness, we could restore the older name List of famous people born in Gdańsk-Danzig which seems rather acceptable. Seriously, Gedenians? :) -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 20:12, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- I agree with Piotrus, no matter on historical names the article should be named after the current city name. List of people born in Gdańsk is a good choice, List of famous people born in Gdańsk-Danzig is little bit cumbersome but acceptable. But what is Gedaian ? :) ≈Tulkolahten≈ 12:37, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Cuurent name of course. After Britannica. Space Cadet (talk) 16:17, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Current name of course. This is obvious --Molobo (talk) 18:21, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Current name? Like Cleopatra in Category:People from Cairo, ja? As I see that it is really hard for at least two of you to spell the 8-letter word Gedanian in the article name correctly (the other two don't even dare to make an attempt), I'll have mercy. So, as with List of people from Istanbul, let there be List of people from Gdańsk. And List of people from Danzig, too. Rejoice. -- Matthead DisOuß 06:50, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
