Regis silva
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Regis silva, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.regissilva.com/biography.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:25, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Regis silva
A tag has been placed on Regis silva requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Misplaced Pages to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Misplaced Pages's policies and guidelines. Regis Silva
A tag has been placed on Regis Silva, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Misplaced Pages. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DAJF (talk) 17:41, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Article Regis Silva
Hi,
I'm commenting here to let you know about concerns I have on the article Regis Silva. Articles must be written to normal Misplaced Pages standards. Please do not re-insert deleted material that falls below or outside those standards, or is unduely self promotional .
Please also carefully read the page on conflict of interest which states clearly:
- "Editors proposing to write about themselves, their own organizations, or matters they have very close ties to, are strongly advised not to edit or create such articles at all (except for certain non-controversial edits) but to instead use the talk page to request help from neutral editors."
- and
If you write in Misplaced Pages about yourself, your group, your company, or your pet idea, once the article is created, you have no right to control its content, and no right to delete it outside our normal channels. Content is not deleted just because somebody doesn't like it. Any editor may add material to or remove material from the article within the terms of our content policies. If there is anything publicly available on a topic that you would not want included in an article, it will probably find its way there eventually. More than one user has created an article only to find himself presented in a poor light long-term by other editors. In addition, if your article is found not to be worthy of inclusion in the first place, it will be deleted, as per our deletion policies, and if you edit war to try and obtain a version of your choosing you may have your editing access removed, perhaps permanently.
Therefore, don't create promotional or other articles lightly, especially on subjects you care about.
- and
- Accounts that appear, based on their edit history, to exist for the sole or primary purpose of promoting a person ... in apparent violation of this guideline should be warned and made aware of this guideline. If the same pattern of editing continues after the warning, the account may be blocked.
You are welcome to edit, but when it comes to an article on yourself, please restrict your edits to the talk page or to non-controversial edits such as typos and grammar fixes, which do not significantly change the style or approach of the article.
Thanks, and if I can help, please let me know!

- Update:
- Please do not remove tags from articles if the matter is not likely to have been resolved to the satisfaction of other editors; they are needed to note editorial aspects of the article. Examples: .
- Also, please read our guideline on spam, and be careful not to add promotional links, or promote yourself in articles such as Hotel des Arts which you created adding the text "Suite 500/501, painted by Regis Silva and Bloum, is the most impressive room." . Removed .
- In general you should not write about yourself, but note it on the talk page and let others decide whether to add it or not. Please note my comment above, to write on the talk page, or restrict your editing to non-controversial, non-promotional matters concerning yourself and things you are conected to. Thanks!
