The other two di Stefanos are terribly obscure--one doesn't have an article and the other has an article that virtually no one is searching for. Questionable page move
If a disambiguation page exists at all, it should be Giovanni di Stefano (disambiguation), not here. How did you infer consensus for this move? The other two di Stefanos are terribly obscure--one doesn't have an article and the other has an article that virtually no one is searching for. I'm moving it back until a convincing case can be made.--The Fat Man Who Never Came Back (talk) 17:45, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Er... what's the point in having a disambiguation page for the sake of having a disambiguation page? If it just redirects here, all we're doing is being bureaucratic about the whole thing. :) I'm going to move this back to the deambiguated title; like you said, the listed people are obscure, but since searching for "Giovanni di Stefano" currently takes you here anyway... Well, when I moved Giovanni di Stefano to GDS (dab), I was planning to then move GDS (lawyer) back to GDS and then put a dab statement at the top of GDS pointing to this (borderline useless) dab page. However, I couldn't move GDS (lawyer) back to GDS for some reason and I couldn't add a dab statement/hatnote on the lawyer article b/c the page is protected--so I was kind of stuck.
