"Sneakernight" is a song on Vanessa Hudgens's sophomore album, Identified and was the album's first single.

Release

The single was released on April 11, 2008 at Radio Disney while the music video on June 13, 2008. Prior to the release of the video, the song charted on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached to eighty-eight. It is still unknown when the single would be release in other countries.

Promotion

Vanessa Hudgens is currently signed to Red by Marc Ecko. She promoted the product in the music video by wearing the shoes. The song was also featured in one of "So You Think You Can Dance" commercials. She has performed the song in her tours as an opening song.

Music Video

The video shows Hudgens wearing neon glow sneakers and heading to a houseparty with friends. According to Hudgens on an interview on Good Morning America, the song is about a party wherein you're allowed to wear sneakers instead of heels.
