James Delingpole (born 6 August 1965 ) is a British journalist, novelist, and self-described libertarian conservative. He has published several novels and two political books, How to be Right: The Essential Guide to Making Lefty Liberals History, and Welcome to Obamaland: I Have Seen Your Future and It Doesn't Work. and writes for The Times, Daily Telegraph, and as a TV critic for The Spectator.

Climate change scepticism

Delingpole regularly posts blog posts sceptical of climate change on The Daily Telegraph website and his personal website.

He was called a 'rent-a-quote climate change sceptic' by a Guardian journalist after he falsely accused an 88-year-old WW2 veteran - who wrote a letter to Newsweek decrying anti-science propaganda - to be a "concoction of some young eco-freak".
