Dr. Gabriel J. Campana is the mayor of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. He is an educator in the Williamsport Area School District. In addition, Masters Degree classes were taught by Gabe at The College of New Jersey (Trenton State College) and via RTC as an adjuct Assistant Professor. He is a 12 year veteran of Williamsport City Council and attended the following institutions of higher learning.

In 2003, Campana received his Doctor of Education Degree from University of Sarasota (now called Argosy University), accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and membership with the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, which also accredits 900 other Colleges and Universities including Notre Dame and Ohio State.

On May 12, 2008, Campana announced a new plan to fight crime in Williamsport. By the end of the year, statistics showed violent crime was reduced by 15% and drug arrests were up 200% (Williamsport Sun-Gazette Wednesday, December 31, 2008). Finally, since 2008, over $450 million has been pledged towards economic development in the city. (Williamsport Sun-Gazette).
