Wood green School (established 1953 as a comprehensive school) is a secondary school located in Oxfordshire (Oxon), UK which serves the town of Witney and surrounding villages such as North Leigh, Hailey and Finstock. Catering to ages 11-18, the school hosts approximately 1200 students (of which just over 200 are in the VI form (16-18)) each year. The school receantly completed the building of a new VI form and Dining center. A bid for specialist school status was launched on 1 December 2003 beginning with a request for £50,000 from parents, this target was reached in February 2005. The head teacher is Miss C. J. Savage.
