Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Asher's Energy-Mass Relation

I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Asher's Energy-Mass Relation to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question - it's about a theory, not a person, so WP:CSD#A7 doesn't apply. There is no {{db-advertisement}} tag. {{db-spam}} is used to tag articles that are thought to be blatantly promotional. This article was not a promotion, but an informative report about a known computer security threat. Misplaced Pages contains a vast amount of coverage on computer security threats -- they are not advertisements but informative articles on the nature of computer security. Mistaken speedy deletion nom of Never Just a Dream?

Hey, Keystoneridin, I think you made a mistake when you tagged this article; you used Template:db-animal, but the article is about an album. Perhaps you meant WP:CSD#A9, although that one doesn't apply either, since the author has her own article. Rollback

Hi Keystonerididin. After reviewing your prior contributions, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

• Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
• Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
• Rollback should never be used to edit war.
• If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
• Use common sense.

Linda Tran: not vandalism

Hi again, Keystoneridin. I saw your CSD nomination of this page. I don't disagree that it should be deleted, but I think that G3 is the wrong criterion for it. It should be done with Template:db-bio, a subset of A7 (lack of asserted importance/significance). It looks like the kind of well-meaning autobiography we get all the time, and while they're not appropriate for Misplaced Pages, they're also not vandalism in the Misplaced Pages sense. There are all sorts of special rules for vandalism (such as reversion of it being exempt from the three-revert rule), so we need to be careful in what we label as vandalism. Thanks! Everybody Edits

I don't want to remove the speedy deletion templates you put on another article, but can you please explain how this constitutes a G3? A G3 is for pure vandalism, and I googled the game and it exists. Perhaps an A7, PROD, or AFD might be better. Thank you, Electriccatfish2 (talk) 17:26, 22 June 2012 (UTC).
