  • Delete.Delete this parody of a page. Macedonism garbage, unscientific and unliterate administrators who don't allow us to discuss about the matter, offensive toward the Greek opinion. Administrators didn't give me a single reply about this article's truth and purpose. They have been solving disputes by themselves. But i'm not going to write any more thoughts to be deleted as "forum" ,"POV",or "personal attacks"(which are frequently used by these people to justify censorship) in the talk pages. In any case, this article is nationalistic Skopje propaganda and is to be deleted right away.Read my two anonymous entries to the talk page 1 week now. Directly linking to this unacceptable page when someone writes "macedonian language" is the cherry on top.Misplaced Pages has more to offer than this. Ellhn2012 (talk) 13:43, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Please delete this article as soon as possible because it offends the people of Greece. You should keep in mind that due to the resolution of the U.N. the line "is the official language of the Republic of Macedonia " is 100% invalid.

The United Nations recognized only the name "Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia". The name "Republic of Macedonia" is an illegal effort of extremists to change the Greek history. Macedonia is Greek and this will never change.

Unfortunately, due to this huge offence, this is my last visit in Misplaced Pages. Everyone will play his part in history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iwizu (talkcontribs) 08:59, 15 August 2010 (UTC)

  • Comment. It really offends me as a Greek when somebody claims that there are about 200000 people in north Greece speaking the " Macedonian " language. Theese people are Slavs and so is their language(slavic) and they have no relation with the ancient Macedonians!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.171.36.61 (talkcontribs) 2010-08-15T09:40:57 (UTC)
  • Strong Keep This is a ridiculous nomination for obvious reasons; editors are advised to look at the ANI comment and this. The deletion attempts appear to be the product of several anti-Macedonian IPs collaborating; the page itself has been semi-protected as a result. The Rhymesmith (talk) 10:09, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
  • Keep: In the same way that some Muslims being offended by images of Muhammed is not valid grounds for removing those images if they are used in an encyclopedic way, so people being offended by others calling their country Macedonia and their language Macedonian is not valid grounds for deleting the articles if the articles are encyclopedic and backed up with verifiable references. Something I don't understand is why the foundation is being bombarded with vile, threatening emails filled with swearing because Wikpedia has a referenced article, which includes information about the dispute - if there are verifiable sources indicating encyclopedic notability, the article should exist. Can someone also please explain why people living in the Republic of Macedonia are not allowed to call their language Macedonian - my ancestors, French Huguenots, emigrated from France to Africa - we call the country we live in the Republic of South Africa, we call ourselves South Africans, and the language we speak Afrikaans. If someone objects to people with French ancestry using the word Africa/Afrika in the name of the country they live in or in the name of the language they speak, then that should be mentioned on Misplaced Pages if there are verifiable references - it wouldn't be a valid reason to delete the Afrikaans article. -- Jeandré (talk), 2010-08-15t10:11z
