This girl may be lucky, but she doesn't have a "special bond with nature". How exactly do you "befriend" a crocodile, or amphibian like the article claims? I watched the discovery special "Tippi of Africa" and I was frightened when I watched a small child standing next to wild boars, partially sedated juvenile lions and African mother elephants with children in tow. She didnt seem to be fluent in English either and thats what all the conservationists with her were speaking. A nightmare waiting to happen if you ask me. This kinda stuff is errily reminiscent of Steve Irwin, like when he carried his 1 month old son along to feed a 12 foot crocodile. Taunting and provoking a huge, deadly reptile for entertainment has never felt right.. then again im sure the publicity has always done a great deal for wildlife conservation. —Preceding ] comment added by ] (] • ]) 10:31, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
