"Somebody Saved Me" is a song written and composed by Pete Townshend, the guitarist for The Who. It is on his third solo album All the Best Cowboys Have Chinese Eyes. It is also on the Who's Face Dances 1997 remaster as a bonus track.

Strange lyrical meaning

The lyrics seemed to say that Townshend was "saved" a "few times" by "not" having sexual intercourse with a series of women.

Omitted from Face Dances

The Who omitted "Somebody Saved Me" from their 1981 album Face Dances, their first album with Kenney Jones, because it didn't seem to fit the band's style.
