Jai Waetford (born 1999) is an Australian recording artist who finished third on the fifth series of The X Factor (Australia). His debut single "Your Eyes" peaked to number six on the ARIA Singles Chart and his debut EP Jai Waetford EP peaked to number 21 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

2013: The X Factor

Jai Waetford auditioned for The X Factor. In the auditions he performed "Different Worlds" and "Don't Let Me Go" making it through to the Super bootcamp. In the Super bootcamp he performed "Titanium" and "We Are Never Getting Back Together" making it through to the Home visits. At the Home visits he performed "Always On My Mind" making it through to the Live Shows. He went on to reach the final finishing third behind Taylor Henderson who finished second and Dami Im who won the show.

After The X Factor Jai released his debut single "Your Eyes" on, which would have been his winners single if he had won The X Factor on 1 November 2013. The song peaked to number six on the ARIA Singles Chart. On 6 December 2013 he released his debut EP Jai Waetford EP, it has peaked to number 21 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
