:Per ] you shouldn't remove comments that others have replied to. :I disagree that the comments made by others on the page rise to the level of personal attacks. Even comments that are personal attacks are rarely removed, but usually struck out <strike>like this</strike> rather than removed. If the comments did rise to ] level, I would have issued warnings and possibly blocks for them. I did caution others at ] to not try to drive you away from the article by accusing you of having a COI, because of the value of the photographs you provide (and I invoked ] as my reasoning). I'm trying to figure out where someone was calling you names on that page (again, I'm an administrator so if any of that behavior is occurring I can take action). -- ''']'''] 22:28, 13 March 2014 (UTC) | :I disagree that the comments made by others on the page rise to the level of personal attacks. A beer for you!
I thought a beer would be appropriate after reading your profile. Just because I thing aerial photos of stuff is really cool, and not something we have much of at all. JJ Harrison (talk) 12:50, 16 February 2013 (UTC) |

Thai help needed
Hello WPPilot, I'm contacting you because we need some Thai translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on th.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Thai Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 01:57, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
Talk:Daniel Catullo
You removed an entire section of discussion from the talk page of this article (the "COI" section). I restored it, as discussions are not removed from talk pages (per WP:TPO). You can in most cases remove a post you've left yourself, but unless there is an overwhelming need for it, you should not remove comments that others have made. Is there a reason why you needed to remove it? I'm not opposed to a hat template collapsing the discussion if you feel that it's too much of a distraction to have there, but if you want it completely removed I'd like to know why. If there's something damaging in the discussion, it should probably be oversighted rather than deleted (so that it's also not preserved in the edit history of the page). -- Atama頭 17:35, 13 March 2014 (UTC)

- Per WP:REDACT you shouldn't remove comments that others have replied to (even your own), though if you leave a comment and change your mind and remove it right afterward, it's almost always okay (I do that myself on occasion). But that rule is meant to prevent people from making conversations difficult or impossible to follow, and you selectively removed your comments in such a way that the conversation seems understandable so I won't reinsert your comments. I also used a "hat" template to collapse the thread so that it is hidden from view.
- I disagree that the comments made by others on the page rise to the level of personal attacks. Even comments that are personal attacks are rarely removed, but usually struck out
like thisrather than removed. If the comments did rise to WP:NPA level, I would have issued warnings and possibly blocks for them. I did caution others at WP:ANI to not try to drive you away from the article by accusing you of having a COI, because of the value of the photographs you provide (and I invoked WP:EXPERT as my reasoning). I'm trying to figure out where someone was calling you names on that page (again, I'm an administrator so if any of that behavior is occurring I can take action). -- Atama頭 22:28, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
