Gumtree.com.au was launched in January 2007 and in 2012 Gumtree Australia broke through 1 million live ads on the site for the first time. In 2005 Gumtree became part of the eBay Classifieds Group. In 2013 Gumtree Australia launched its blog (http://blog.gumtree.com.au). Gumtree is also full of the most moronic selling scammers and just as even are the buyers. You will find sellers having multiple different phone numbers to try to out scam the buyers. Especially in the "pets" section where these scumbag scammers sit there googling mobile numbers of potential buyers that they may have recently ripped off in order to avoid confrontation.
