K.C. Pant ( full name :Krishria Chandra Pant ) is a former cabinet minister in federal Government of India.

He was born in 1931 in then Uttar Pradesh. He is son of Govind Ballabh Pant a former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh .He studied MSc and then joined politics and became member of Indian National Congress party.

He was elected to Lok Sabha first time in 1962 and then in 1967 and 1971 .He was elected to Rajya Sabha in 1978 and was leader of the house during 1979-1980 .

K C Pant was Union minister with cabinet rank holding portfolios Finance, Steef and Heavy Engineering , Home Affairs, Electronics, Atomic Energy and Science and Technology.

He left Indian National Congress Party and joined Bharatiya Janata Party. He was deputy chairman of Planning Commission of India . His wife Ilia Pant was also elected to Lok Sabha .
