As I frequently work at the arbitration enforcement noticeboard, I am "aware" of all the various areas covered by discretionary sanctions, and this notice may be considered evidence of awareness if enforcement is requested. It is not necessary to leave me notices advising me of such areas.

• Post all new sections under a new header at the bottom of this page, not at random. If you make it clear you ignored these instructions by placing it elsewhere, I am likely to ignore your request in turn.

• If you leave me a message here, I will respond to it here, as fragmented discussions are confusing. I may or may not leave you a notice that I've responded on your talk page. Arbitration

• By motion, standard discretionary sanctions have been temporarily authorized for all pages relating to the Horn of Africa (defined as including Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and adjoining areas if involved in related disputes). The effectiveness of the discretionary sanctions can be evaluated on the request by any editor after March 1, 2021 (or sooner if for a good reason).
• Following the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections, the following editors have been appointed to the Arbitration Committee: Barkeep49, BDD, Bradv, CaptainEek, L235, Maxim, Primefac.

Deletion of Tako Mekvabidze

Hi Seraphimblade, I appreciate your contribution in Misplaced Pages. I have no deep knowledge about Misplaced Pages article creation Policy and would be happy to read your summary about Tako Mekvabidze's article deletion. Would you be so kind to explain me how to change the content to meet the policy? What was wrong with the article you deleted? Thanks in advance! Usual exception, I hope

Since you are the admin who declared a consensus in favor of a TBAN for me on edits relating to the Knights of Columbus, I wanted to draw your attention to this edit. I corrected an incorrect pronoun for a knight in what I assume would fall under the BLP exception. While I was at it, I corrected the tense of the verb in the sentence. That does not appear as obvious to me so, if you like, I will self-revert it. Thanks. --Slugger O'Toole (talk) 14:17, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Slugger O'Toole, that would seem to pretty readily fall under either the exceptions for an uncontroversial vandalism reversion or BLP. So yes, I see no issue with that. Seraphimblade 16:31, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Deletion of Erica Nlewedim

Hi Seraphimblade, I appreciate your contribution in Misplaced Pages. I'm not a Wiki Whiz but learnt the ropes to create a page for Erica Nlewedim. I noted that you deleted the page last year because she did not meet the notability criteria at the time. I have however updated the page and will appreciate a review. She's a Nigerian actress who gained popularity on Big Brother. She had significant work even before the page. Two of her other housemates whose portfolios are not as vast as hers both have Wiki Pages. Kindly help review. Thank you. Kemmiiii (talk) 01:28, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

I think "revered" may be a bit much; as often "reviled" perhaps. That said, Kemmiiii, since your draft has been rejected by AfC, you will need to discuss the matter with Celestina007 who was the reviewer. Seraphimblade 08:15, 25 January 2021 (UTC)

Okay, so having looked at the article, there are certainly some problems. Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Don't Capitalize Random Words. Correctly written, it would be "bachelor's degree in business administration"), bagging the... ("Winning". Don't use informal language like "bagging".) Despite her popularity, she was unceremoniously disqualified ("She lost". Not a bunch of talking up. Dump the GoFundMe stuff.) Remove any external links within the article text; several are present. So yes, as it stands now, the article is inappropriately promotional in tone and content. Seraphimblade 08:22, 25 January 2021 (UTC)
