Hi Azer! First of all, I like your user page. It's a beautiful and individual statement. Lots of my favorite stuff there. :) Regarding the nomination, I'll decline for now; I don't watch RFA all that often (and probably wouldn't even pass, since I rarely take part in the policy discussions there). I appreciate your asking, though! Cheers, ] ] 23:27, 16 January 2007 (UTC) |

PS: Also, your test worked, and your edits to Misplaced Pages:CVU were reverted.
- It wasn't a test. I thought that that statement had too much of a POV intent.--Rouge Rosado Oui? 05:12, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
Alignment
How about adjusting it and adding the cite template instead of removing the Criticism section? - Peregrinefisher 21:11, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe so.--Rouge Rosado Oui? 23:56, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
WP:MFD
Would you consider withdrawing your nomination for Misplaced Pages:Cleaning up vandalism. If you have not yet read, please see a signifigant debate regarding this page at Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit (third nomination), Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit, Misplaced Pages:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit (second nomination), and Misplaced Pages:Deletion review/Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit. — xaosflux 01:01, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
Emergency revert
What was that about?--Azer Red Si? 22:34, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if you're aware of the extreme vandalism that occurred around 15:30 (UTC), but it's discussed on Talk:Main Page, WP:AN, and WP:ANI. The vandalism was especially hard to detect, so I looked through the history of the Main Page to see if there was a version that would not have the vandalized template. Reverting the Main Page to the previous version did not actually do anything, but it appeared to fix the issue because when I had checked the previous version, the image had been removed (unbeknownst to me) from the vandalized template. So, I reverted. However, by the time I went to check the Main Page again, the image was re-added to the previously vandalized template. Thus, it was back, leaving me confused as to how that happened. I checked WP:ANI and saw that someone had pointed out Misplaced Pages:POTD row/December 24, 2006 as the vandalized template. I protected the page and blocked the vandal. Someone got around to reverting my reversion on the Main Page before I could. I checked the history of Misplaced Pages:POTD row/December 24, 2006 and saw that the vandalism was being eliminated while I was performing my Main Page revert. -- tariqabjotu 22:43, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, I know what happened. I have the main page on my watchlist and I saw you make a revert to a version with a redlink to a deleted template, and I was just curious as to what was going on.--Azer Red Si? 22:48, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
Your recent edits to Shock site and Troll organization
It has already been decided that just because a subject is not worthy of an article on wikipedia, does not mean it is not worthy of mention. Please, before making any major changes such as this again, discuss it on the relevant talk page. Thank you. -- Jmax- 22:53, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
Your recent AfDs
Hi there! Just a quick note about the two AfDs you recently submitted. It's always better to use the {{subst:afd2}} template, which can be copied from the AfD box in the article, when creating the debate - this ensures that the AfD is correctly formatted and appears in the appropriate category. Thanks. Tevildo 23:40, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to do so in the future.--Azer Red Si? 23:43, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
WP:CFDS
I've delsited your speedy cat rename nomination for Category:Lesbian actors, as the actor-->actress issue was raised during its last full CFD. Feel free to start a new WP:CFD renaming discussion though. Thanks, — xaosflux 18:03, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
SPA's on Afd discussions
Hey. I noticed you have removed two single-purpose accounts' recommendations on Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/American Nihilist Underground Society (3rd nomination). These should not be deleted, but instead be tagged with {{spa}}, as in {{subst:spa|Username}}. This is more civil and reduces biting. As WP:BITE states, it's not nice to call newcomers "blatant socks". Also, the first SPA recommended deleting, not keeping. Thanks, Prolog 01:00, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I'll do that in the future. Thanks.--Azer Red Si? 02:38, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
I always say
That especially for bios of living persons, unsourced and questionable information should be removed promptly.--Jimbo Wales 15:51, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
American Nihilist Underground Society
Have you heard the expression "stub-ifiy" used with regards to a[REDACTED] article? It consists of taking out everything that cannot be supported by a reliable source and placing the {{stub}} tag at the bottom of the page. It's exactly what every article should look like anyway, but for those times when you're concerned about promotion/aggrandizement/succor-to-troll/whatever it is particulary useful. It's also almost bullet-proof: The removal of uncited material is chapter and verse for one of the foundation policies of wikipedia.

RE: Your nomination for adminship
Azer that is truly a kind and generous nomination however others have approached me in the past. Administrator Husond is interested in also nominating me by February and I believe that is more than an early enough date (considering I have started actively using this account since October of this year, even though it was registered in 2005). If you like you may submit a co-nom, I would be more than honored. Thank you for your generous support.¤~Persian Poet Gal 22:55, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
