He is rector of Islamic seminary Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya and son of Islamic leader Sheikh Kanthapuram A. P. Aboobacker Musliyar, Calicut, Kerala. He has established social and educational institutions in various parts of the country. He is also executive Director of Markaz Knowledge City. He is also known for his Islamic lectures.
