Jadam thakur (YADUVANSHI) is the name of an Indian gotra, or clan,
which forms part of the north-Indian caste group referred to as usually found in the state of madhya pradesh, Rajasthan ,Haryana, uttar pradesh etc India.
The name has been traced by some historians to be a variant of the common clan name Yadav.
Bhatti Rajputs are descendants of the Jadam.
Now a days Ahirs/Gawales are also writing the Upanas of Yaduvanshi Yadav which is actually different from them. The real Yaduvanshi Yadav is actually a Thakur. In which the lineage of the real Yaduvanshi Thakur is still with Bhato (the one who keeps the family records), the names of the ancestors and their descendants. History is written.
