Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Misplaced Pages. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Misplaced Pages:
- The five pillars of Misplaced Pages
- Contributing to Misplaced Pages
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Simplified Manual of Style
- Task Center – need some ideas of what kind of things need doing? Go here.
Please bear these points in mind while editing Misplaced Pages:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Misplaced Pages's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Misplaced Pages page and follow Misplaced Pages's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Misplaced Pages is not a forum.
The Misplaced Pages tutorial is a good place to start learning about Misplaced Pages. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! — Diannaa (talk) 20:45, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
Splits require attribution!
Please stop splitting soundtrack articles until you read WP:SPLIT#How to properly split an article. You are not providing the proper attribution and so your new article creations are licensing violations. Please go back to your previous creations and use an edit summary to indicate where you copied the content from. Thanks. DanCherek (talk) 20:18, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- @DanCherek: He's at it again, Dan. Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars 19:34, 26 January 2022 (UTC)
- Theoder2055, again, please provide attribution in the edit summary when you split soundtrack articles. It is required and very easy to do. If you continue to rapidly copy material without attribution, I will bring up your conduct at a noticeboard. DanCherek (talk) 04:10, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
- @DanCherek: Sigh, still not getting that attribution is important. Not a split, but a copy-paste page move. Why do i have the feeling this isn't the first account... - . Ravensfire (talk) 18:59, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Misplaced Pages's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 04:12, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy soundtrack.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy soundtrack.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 19:18, 7 February 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you copied or moved text from Dabangg (soundtrack) into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Misplaced Pages's content, here or elsewhere, Misplaced Pages's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Misplaced Pages, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from ]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Misplaced Pages:Copying within Misplaced Pages. Don't do copy page page moves. You lose attribution and it's pretty simple to just MOVE the page. If you can't move the page for some reason, you can ask at WP:RM. Since these are drafts, you can also just be patient and wait for it to be reviewed (and can ask at WP:TEA or Help desk for drafts. Please don't do any more copy-paste moves. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Priyanka Atul Mohan in 2021.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Priyanka Atul Mohan in 2021.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Misplaced Pages takes copyright very seriously.
If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Misplaced Pages. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.
Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vladlen Manilov ✉ / 11:45, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
Non-free rationale for File:Buttermilk Powder.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Buttermilk Powder.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
