Your article الجليد (رواية)

Information icon Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page الجليد (رواية) to Misplaced Pages. While you have added the page to the English version of Misplaced Pages, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It has been listed at Pages needing translation into English, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article will be listed for deletion. Thank you. Al-jaleed (novel) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Al-jaleed (novel), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Misplaced Pages). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Misplaced Pages's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notability

Please ensure that the subjects of your articles meet the notability criteria, as detailed in WP:GNG. Articles on non-notable subjects will be sent back to drafts, like I have just done with one of them, or they may be deleted. Ideally, you should submit your proposed articles to the Articles for Creation (AfC) review, until such time as you are confident you understand the notability and other important principles well enough. Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 11:02, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

June 2022

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Misplaced Pages. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Misplaced Pages has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Misplaced Pages:Requests for history merge. Thank you. It seems that the way you operate is you work on a draft, and when you feel it's ready to publish, you copy & paste its contents into a new article. Please do NOT do this. Firstly, copy-and-paste breaks the history. Secondly, you create duplicate contents, because unless you request the original draft to be deleted, it just sits there.
Most importantly, though, you shouldn't really be publishing articles straight into the main space in any case, unless they are ready for that, which self-evidently they're not.
All the drafts you've created have a blue button on them that says 'Submit the draft for review'; please click on that, when you want the draft to be checked and published if it's accepted. That is by far and away the best way for you to publish your articles. Thank you, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:05, 13 June 2022 (UTC)
