After New York, Childers moved back to California. She was contacted by a family friend named Norman Miller about starting a group upon return. After a few months, Childers agreed to pursue the idea. Alisa Childers is a Christian music artist. She is known for being in the all female group ZOEgirl. She has had a string of top ten radio singles, four studio releases, and received the Dove Award from being with ZOEgirl. Her musical influences include Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel, Steve Taylor, Kate Bush, U2, and Sheila Walsh.

Early Years

Childers grew up in San Fernando Valley, California. She studied gymnastics and piano at a young age. She was the captain of her high school cheerleading squad and softball team. A couple of years after high school, she moved to New York and ran a youth center in southeast Manhattan. Blah Blah blah

Solo Career

ZOEgirl stayed together for seven years. At the end of 2006, Childers started a solo career. She is working with R.L.M./Mission Management labels.

Romance

Childers fell in love with the drummer for ZOEgirl at a performance in Dallas, Texas. They were later married. They currently live together in Franklin, Tennessee.
