| Hello I have been trying to find sources to improve the quality of the articles on each of the ]. The reality is that most of the news articles about these roads are just offhand mentions of the roads in descriptions of US military operations, and I can't really find any other sources on these roads covering really any other topics. Most of the articles are 1 sentence and have no sources. Is there a reason to keep these articles? Are they notable? Is it appropriate to just leave them like this until someday someone writes about these articles? I sort of lean towards merging them into 1 article that lists the highways and their routes and then if there is ever more information then maybe having individual articles is warranted. Just looking at some of the articles for Iraqi highways, my advice would be to make a page like the one at ], and basically on a table, just include the road name, where it runs from and to, the length of the road (if you can't find this anywhere then maybe use the 'measure distance' tool on Google Maps) and a notes section (where you can just put all of the information that you can find about the roads). Advice on Iraq highway articles
Hello I have been trying to find sources to improve the quality of the articles on each of the Highways in Iraq. The reality is that most of the news articles about these roads are just offhand mentions of the roads in descriptions of US military operations, and I can't really find any other sources on these roads covering really any other topics. Most of the articles are 1 sentence and have no sources. Is there a reason to keep these articles? Are they notable? Is it appropriate to just leave them like this until someday someone writes about these articles? I sort of lean towards merging them into 1 article that lists the highways and their routes and then if there is ever more information then maybe having individual articles is warranted. Just looking at some of the articles for Iraqi highways, my advice would be to make a page like the one at A roads in Zone 3 of the Great Britain numbering scheme#Single- and double-digit roads, and basically on a table, just include the road name, where it runs from and to, the length of the road (if you can't find this anywhere then maybe use the 'measure distance' tool on Google Maps) and a notes section (where you can just put all of the information that you can find about the roads). Greek motorway article names
I am seeking feedback on the possibility of renaming most Greek motorway articles to follow the format "A8 motorway (Greece)" instead of "Motorway 8 (Greece)".
The reason for the proposed rename is to match the naming scheme of other motorways that use the A# format, such as A1 motorway (Luxembourg) and A1 motorway (Switzerland): in addition, new and updated motorway signs in Greece use the A# format (source: Mapillary). --Minoa (talk) 07:58, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
