Audience Capture is a term used to describe the phenomenon where an influencer is affected by his audience, catering to them what he believes they want to hear. This creates a positive feedback loop, which can lead the influencer towards more extreme views and behaviors.

The term was coined by Eric Weinstein in 2018.
