Cairnes Anthony Daniell (1834 - 18 Augiust 1915) was Magistrate and Collector of Bulandshahr, and member of Board of Revenue, North West Provinces, India.

Early life and education

Cairnes Anthony Daniell was born in China in 1834, to James Nugent Daniell, of the East India Company. He was educated at Harrow School. From 1851 to 1853 he attended Haileybury, and arrived in India the following year.

Career

Daniell joined the Bengal Civil Service in 1856, took leave from 1856 to 1858 due to sickness, and returned to India the following year to join the North West Provinces, where he was appointed assistant under the Commissioner at Meerut.
