Shakuntala Baliarsingh (born 25 February 1948) is an Indian writer and translator.
Life
Baliarsingh was born in 1948 in Ramapuram, Kottayam. She has published over 30 books and writes articles for newspapers.
In 2015, Baliarsingh was awarded the Central Sahitya Akademi Translation Award for her translation of Tripurasundari Laxmi's work Kaberi Bhali Jhiatie orginally written in Tamil.
