The Crestoran Odyssey: War of Dignity is the third and final installment in The Crestoran Odyssey. It is the first published novel by South African author Caydyn Lendrum. The book follows the adventures of Erebus and Andromeda and the end of the War of Dignity.
It was published on 8 October 2024.
Plot
The story opens with political turmoil in the Mangrove Republic as a series of attack occur in the north regions. One of the effected people of a junior politician Andromeda and her best friend Cora. Cora turns out is a member of the magical Selene species, something she takes advantage of throughout her story. The plot boils over and the main antagonist Abros takes control and the War of Dignity begins. With help of Cora's brother, Erebus as well as allies from across the vast and diverse world of Crestora come together in rebellion as the free and peaceful world is under threat of destruction and it will take these new heroes all they have to attempt to stop her.
Cover art
Before the release of the second part Blood and Sacrifice was released in July 2024, Caydyn Lendrum had already begun work on the third and final instalment. Caydyn lacked the resources to make quality style covers and so originally he had planned to make the cover the same as the first two, or one of similar style. In June 2024, Caydyn partnered with a friend of his in order to create a custom cover. The cover design was created by Caydyn with illustrations done by artist, Alexa Wood.
