Condoleezza Rice and em dashes

You were right about the misuse of the em dash in that hyphenated word. It is worth noting, however, that em dashes are also used in the library and information sciences to separate the section and subsection components of a category or index entry (e.g. "National security—America"). I'd listen to him. Your message waas an attack aggainst not only me, but anyome between 13 and 18. Your message does imply that teenagers are less intelligent than the rest of the population. My user boxes are here, which is what I assumed Sefringle was referring to. If someone is interested in banning me because I made a silly response to a silly objection to a silly comment, then I guess they'll have the satisfaction of closing down the account of someone who's made a fair amount of constructive edits over the years. (1) Who ever said you'd never come back? People have been banned for hours or decades.

(2) Many "silly jokes" have backfired. Ever heard of the War of the Worlds 1930 Radio Broadcast?

(3) Even if the obgection was silly, the response was a bit uncalled for. Don Imus did a similar thing, but on a worse scale.

(4) All we want is for the notice gone! IT'S NOT HARD!
