Lauren Laverne (real name Lauren Gofton) is a disc jockey, television presenter, and former singer from Sunderland.

Laverne first rose to prominence as a member of the band Kenickie. Following their demise, she became a DJ with BBC 6 Music, and an occasional television presenter of events such as the Glastonbury festival. She is currently a DJ on XFM.

Since the break-up of Kenickie she has featured on several songs by other artists - most notably Mint Royale's Don't Falter.

Her all-time hero is Mark E. Smith of the band The Fall.
