Keira Knightley (born March 22, 1983) is a British actress, best known for her roles in Bend It Like Beckham and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Her first major role was as Sabe, in The Phantom Menace.
She is the daughter of playwright Sharman McDonald and actor Will Knightley, and suffers from dyslexia.
