Shortcuts

Before requesting, read the protection policy. Full protection is used to stop edit warring between multiple users or to prevent vandalism to high-risk templates; semi-protection and pending changes are usually used to prevent IP and new user vandalism (see the rough guide to semi-protection); and move protection is used to stop pagemove revert wars. Extended confirmed protection is used where semi-protection has proved insufficient (see the rough guide to extended confirmed protection)

After a page has been protected, it is listed in the page history and logs with a short rationale, and the article is listed on Special:Protectedpages. In the case of full protection due to edit warring, admins should not revert to specific versions of the page, except to get rid of obvious vandalism.

Hello, I do not know if this is the right place to post this request, but I would like to have the page or article on Daniel Boey protected. I am having admins delete this article right after another admin approves of it. It is becoming apparent that many administrators do not read logs nor respect other admins decisions on what is deemed appropriate etc. I have contacted the admins in question and have yet to receive any real explanation, Nor do I get any message about issues they are having with the article and a chance to rectify it before it's deleted. I cannot keep having to fight for this or any other article daily. This is getting to be absurd. The option to delete without notice is being abused here and steps to reduce this behavior are needed.

Yes its been protected after it was deleted by admins who did not bother to read any of the history of the article. I need to have the article put back online then protected so other admins don't delete without proper research and effort to contact the writer.
