She is still grounded, I'm sure. I'll ask her when she'll be back on Misplaced Pages on Monday. Happy editing to you too. Basketball110 what famous people say 23:03, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

She'll be back in a week. Basketball110 what famous people say23:19, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
She should be back on soon. Thank you for being so patient with her. I think you deserve a pie. Basketball110 21:38, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

Basketball110 has given you a fresh pie! Pies promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day a little better. Spread the WikiLove by giving someone else a piping hot pie, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. Bon appetit!

Spread the tastiness of pies by adding {{subst:GivePie}} to their talk page with a friendly message.

Awsome, pie. :) Thanks! Midorihana 04:51, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Admin coaching

Hi, Midorihana. I was wondering if you'd want to go for admin coaching with me and User:Moonriddengirl. She's not coached anyone before, so she'd like to co-coach with me, and you seem like a really good admin candidate. If you think you're not ready for coaching, or feel that you can't work with us, that's fine, I could suggest some people for you. Hopefully this'll work. All the best, Keilana| 02:41, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi. :) I'll add that if you'd like to see something about my approach to adminship, you can check out this section of my userpage. The RfA coaching organizer who brought you to our attention has offered the opinion that you are about 2-3 months away from readiness for RfA. This seems doable, but, of course, you take that at your own speed. I like what I see in your contribution history. I, too, was heavily involved in vandal-patrol in my early days. If you decide that you'd like to work with us, I promise that I will be candid in my evaluations and give you the best guidance I'm able not only to prepare you for the job, but to prepare you for the enormous stress of the RfA itself. (It was somewhere on par with my master's degree exams for me. :)) As Keilana says, if you aren't ready for coaching or feel that another coach (or coach team) can better help you prepare, there'll be no hard feelings. --Moonriddengirl 13:27, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you very much, I probably will need a lot of help. Could you give me a short summary of how you will coach me, what I should do, etc. ? Midorihana 01:38, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Keilana is more experienced at admin coaching than I am. (Given that I've coached zero. :)) I know frequently admin coaches work on subpages and set certain practice tasks. Me, I'd like to know first what part of adminship appeals to you. Then I would try to help set you up working on parts of the encyclopedia that would improve your readiness for taking on those aspects of adminship. I would also look at your overall contributions in light of what is usually required at RfA. --Moonriddengirl 01:42, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm not that experienced, but I do know my way around RFA. I think we'll also try to expand your horizons a bit, this will be interesting as Moonriddengirl and I generally work in different areas. My first question, do you belong to any work groups or WikiProjects? If not, I recommend poking around to see if there are any that interest you; I could recommend some if you want. Keilana| 01:48, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I've joined Wikiproject Robotics, but I haven't been really involved all that much. Midorihana 02:13, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
If you're interested in being coached by us, how about I set up a subpage for conversation? --Moonriddengirl 02:19, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

←(unindent) Sounds great. :) Thanks. Midorihana 02:22, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

It's here. :) At your leisure, how about heading over there and answering the usual RfA launch questions? I'd especially like to see your answer to question 1. This is only preliminary, and as your experience on Misplaced Pages changes, your answers may change to. It's just to get an initial idea of your interests and direction. --Moonriddengirl 02:36, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! Midorihana 02:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm sure you're watchlisting the page, so I'm not going to be telling you here every time I respond. :) I just wanted to let you know this time so that I could clarify two things: first, I reviewed your contribution history, but at the same time I reviewed the contribution histories of several other people. If I advise you to go do something you're already doing, that's why. I plan to keep an eye on your contributions from this point on, but I wouldn't have volunteered to help you out if I weren't already comfortable with what I saw in your past, so I'm not going back into your history again. :D Second, I'm tossing out a lot of ideas right now. These are to spark conversation. Once you figure out what interests you, we may want to set some specific goals. There. Said what I needed to. I'll see you at User:Moonriddengirl/Admin. :) --Moonriddengirl 13:28, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Damn, seems a little late to the party. Do you mind if I add a co-nomination to the eventual RFA? I'm continually impressed with your dedication (sorry, couldn't find another cliche :)) and contributions. Regards, Rudget. 17:48, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, everyone. :) No problem. Midorihana 21:12, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
Drop me a line when it gets started. I'll the co-nom then. :) Rudget. 21:19, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

I've just left you some comments and an assignment, would you mind taking a look? Keilana| 23:22, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

RE: Hey

Hey there, I know, we haven't been in touch recently. But you're doin' great! And RfA wasn't stressful for me; while I was curious as to how it would turn out, I didn't worry too much. That's just my optimistic side at work. :) Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 19:18, 2 March 2008 (UTC)

We need more optimism on Misplaced Pages. :) Midorihana 02:19, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

RE: What is your Dangerous Idea

Sure, I'm game. What I think the article needs is more content in the criticism section. I'll start tomorrow since I'm busy (homework) today. And, let's just abbreviate it to "WDI" so we don't have to spell the whole name out whenever we talk about it XD .--Slartibartfast1992 23:16, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Sounds good. :) I think the first thing that should be worked on is real-world notability, because right now the article only has that review in it. From there, content can be worked on. Any thoughts on this "plan of action"? Midorihana 01:01, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
So, mainly, we'd be citing articles reviewing it as for real world notability. Right? --Slartibartfast1992 04:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
If I don't get too much homework I'll look for some tomorrow. --Slartibartfast1992 00:26, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Hey, sorry I haven't been around, been skiing in Vermont (still am). Anyway, that ref is great, it clearly shows WDI shown in everyday news, which asserts some notability to it. No criticism there, but I guess that the whole "different genes mean different traits in different groups of people" idea was backed up by the whole Ashkenazi inteligence research done by those Utah people, and the heading of the story was about that. And it did boost my Ashkenazi self-esteem (XD). Don't know what exactly it would reference, but its a good ref. --Slartibartfast1992 22:45, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, and incorporate the current "criticism" section into this new "response" section. That sounds good. Maybe put this ref to use in an "everyday news" or "references in journalism" section. --Slartibartfast1992 21:52, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

Admin coaching

I've just left some thoughts over at the page, please respond when you can. Keilana| 19:17, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Adoption

Yes, I do want to be adopted. I'm sorry I haven't been on Wiki

St. Patty's day

Yay! I'm not sure what we celebrate, but I know I don't get a school day off, which makes me sad. How's life treating you? Master of Puppets Call me MoP! 22:52, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Wow... the rivers run green with... clover?! :O Anyway, I was down with the sickness for about five hours one night after coming home from a party; couldn't sleep at all, was nauseous, and felt really weak. At least it passed quickly. And yeah, I haven't had very much time to edit since schoolwork picked up... hopefully my teachers stop following the advice of the Third Reich and give us some slack, haha. This is a bit of a stupid question but is it possible to automatically find short articles that need to be added on or do you just have to manually look. Thanks :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Why Wiki Why (talkcontribs) 03:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
