The Knitters are a Los Angeles based band that play country and folk music. The name is a play on name of the legendary folk group the Weavers. Members of the group come from X (John Doe, Exene Cervenka & D.J. Bonebrake), the Blasters (Dave Alvin) and the Red Devils (Johhny Ray Bartel).
