Old Jabo is a song written by Brownie McGhee and Sonny Terry. The song is about a man called Jabo (pronounced Jarbo) who is bitten by a snake Old jabo done drivin' his wheel, great big snake bit 'im on his heel The song was written in the early 1950's. the song is in a 4/4 timing with a walking sort of beat. the song features sonny terry playing Harmonica.
