Ivan Bogun or Ivan Bohun (Template:Lang-ua) (died in 1664), Ukrainian Cossack polkovnik (colonel). Close associate and friend of Bohdan Khmelnytsky during the Khmelnytsky Uprising against the Polish rule in Ukraine. In June of 1651 elected hetman during Berestechko battle against Polish army under the King Jan II Casimir. Between 1652 and 1657 defeated Polish army near Batog, Bratslav and Uman, fought against Crimean Tatars who raided Ukraine. After the death of Khmelnytsky led pro-Muscovy uprising against hetman Ivan Vyhovsky and defeated his army in the autumn of 1659. On February 17, 1664 arrested and executed by Poles.
