Prospects was an ITV drama created by Thames Television's film unit Euston Films (the makers of Minder) in 1986 starring Gary Olsen and Brian Bovell. Based around the exploits of two East End chancers, the series ran for 12 episodes over one series and though performing well in the ratings stakes, was not well-received critically.
The 12 episodes were :

It is rumoured that Thames Television accidently wiped the master tapes for Prospects at some point in the late '80's/early '90's. This may explain why it has not been repeated on British television since 1987 and hasn't had an official Video or DVD release.
