Jana Wendt is a veteran Australian journalist, currently host of the Nine network's Sunday program.
Was once referred to as the perfumed steam-roller when she hosted A Current Affair, the Nine Network's nightly current affairs programme.
Jana has previously been a reporter on Australian 60 Minutes and host of A Current Affair, also on Nine, a host of Australian Dateline, on SBS, Witness, on the Seven, and a newsreader on ATV-10. She also did a number of specials for the ABC.
In 2004 a painting of Jana Wendt by artist Evert Ploegs won the Packers room award at the Archibald Prize.
