Scott Thorson (born 1958) purported to be Liberace's lover for five years. He received many gifts from the entertainer but in 1982 he filed a palimony suit against Liberace for $113 million. He was not successful and agreed in 1986 to settle out of court and to drop the action in return for $95,000, a couple of cars, and two pet dogs. In 1989, Thorson emerged as a pivotal witness in the prosecution of reputed gangster Eddie Nash in the 1981 quadruple murders of the Wonderland Gang.
