Back on break until the elections are over so I don't end up saying things I'll regret. I also have an almost completed article that will be ready then. I've been working on that for quite some time now...

Here's what's going to happen:
I'm taking AN, AN/I, RFAR and all other boards off my watchlist. I'm also taking all controversial BLPs off my watchlist as well as Jimbo's talk page.
I'll no longer be taking part in AfD discussions unless they relate to articles concerning Denmark, narrowly interpreted. I'll restrict myself to making one comment per AfD.
I'm withdrawing from all discussions related to economics, broadly interpreted.
I'll focus on articles related to higher education in Denmark as they are in a poor state and need improvement.
If, despite these efforts, you came here to complain about your POV not being sufficiently represented or to template me for vandalism when I'm enforcing policy please don't. It upsets me far more than it helps. Use the article talk page to state your opinion and I'll most likely just walk away from that article rather than bother to get into a fight with you. You don't need to create armies of sockpuppets to achieve that and you don't need to bait me on my talk page. A simple statement on the article talk page declaring your intentions will be enough. You may also read my essay here to understand why I probably won't be interested in a debate with you. Thanks.

DepartedUser4 is taking a short wikibreak and will be back on Misplaced Pages soon.

ZOMG!
Thankyou for notifying me. Just FYI, it's usually considered good form to notify a closing admin of your objections before taking these things to DRV, I would have been quite happy to relist or have a neutral third party review the decision. In fact, the DRV instructions clearly state that "Deletion Review is to be used where someone is unable to resolve the issue in discussion with the administrator (or other editor) in question. This should be attempted first – courteously invite the admin to take a second look". I'm not particularly upset about this, but I would recommend trying a friendly discussion first next time, it generally results in a whole lot less bother and mess for everyone, including you. Christian II "the Tyrant" and the Stockholm Bloodbath
Hi there, I happened to come upon the entry on Christian II. You're absolutely right it fumes with old 19th century nationalism, this is the way it used to be described in old Swedish schoolbooks and while few people would deny he was ruthless, the tone of the Christian II article is like a knight novel and does not represent any kind of modern approach to those events. I'll try to offer something better. I have some acquaintance with the historical field - my mother's a historian & archivist so I've grown up in touch with that community - and I know where to find solid sources, even in English, plus I've always been interested in the age. Hi! Thanks, I had almost forgotten about that article! Your insight would be most appreciated. I saw the problem but I really didn't know how to fix it and Valentinian sadly left Misplaced Pages. There aren't that many Scandinavians here and those who are here don't frequent these articles on a regular basis. Let me know if you need any help but I think the issue is best dealt with by someone who knows where to look for proper sources. I'm sure the article can be improved and frankly I think the tone in the article was most likely due to bad sourcing and copying of old public domain material rather than any intentional attempt to violate NPOV. I have no problem with the article documenting how the Stockholm Bloodbath affected the relationship between Denmark and Sweden, and hence the perception of Christian II as a tyrant, but it really should do so in a more neutral way. Obviously he was thought of as a tyrant and frankly I don't blame those who considered him as such but that shouldn't be the focus of the entire article.
