Matthew J. Amorello (March 15, 1958–) is a former chairman of the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority who presided over the Big Dig from 2002-2006. He effectively lead the project to its conclusion. He was instrumental in establishing the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway conservancy, a public-private partnership to oversee the new parks created above the underground tunnel network.
Education
Bachelor's degree in history from Assumption College in Worcester; master's degree in public administration from American University in Washington, D.C.; Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.
Work history
