I added the POV tag, because there are some real Armenain-POV statements in this articles, just reading the intro it seems like a piece of propaganda work: ''formed in the early 1990s in order to protect the ethnic Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh from the attacks by the military of the Soviet and Azerbaijani forces.'' I suggest a more objective approach in this article. ] (]) 11:51, 19 July 2009 (UTC) | I added the POV tag, because there are some real Armenain-POV statements in this articles, just reading the intro it seems like a piece of propaganda work: ''formed in the early 1990s in order to protect the ethnic Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh from the attacks by the military of the Soviet and Azerbaijani forces.'' :Yes, that's what an army does in case you did not know. It protects its citizens from wars of aggression such as the one conducted by Azerbaijan aided by Soviet forces (]) which is the entire reason Artsakh has an army in the first place. Besides, you can't just place a POV tag just because you don't like one sentence. The entire article is sourced. Removing tag. - ] (]) 16:41, 19 July 2009 (UTC) | :Yes, that's what an army does in case you did not know. NPOV
The following phrases appear to be not neutral:
- uniting previously disorganized self-defense units which were formed in the early 1990s in order to protect the ethnic Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh from the attacks by the military of the Soviet and Azerbaijani forces.
They were formed much earlier and were engaged in attacks on Azerbaijani settlements.
- Armenia considers any act of aggression against Karabagh (?) as an act of aggression against itself

- Still no citation on that sentence even after a whole month Baku87 17:42, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Can somebody name the Armenian name? Thank you, 141.48.3.139 14:47, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
title
Defense army? I mean come on guys lets be realistic here, only Japan has a defense army! Please somebody correct this childish title.
Budget?
Can we get some proof on that $265 million budget? It says proposal but proposals arent supposed to be pointed as the budget, we need the correct figures not political figures. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 145.83.1.6 (talk) 12:32, 26 March 2007 (UTC).
Fair use rationale for Image:Nagorno-Karabakh Coat of Arms.png
Image:Nagorno-Karabakh Coat of Arms.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Misplaced Pages article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:36, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

POV
I added the POV tag, because there are some real Armenain-POV statements in this articles, just reading the intro it seems like a piece of propaganda work: formed in the early 1990s in order to protect the ethnic Armenian population of Nagorno-Karabakh from the attacks by the military of the Soviet and Azerbaijani forces. I suggest a more objective approach in this article. Neftchi (talk) 11:51, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, that's what an army does in case you did not know. It protects its citizens from wars of aggression such as the one conducted by Azerbaijan aided by Soviet forces (Nagorno-Karabakh War) which is the entire reason Artsakh has an army in the first place. Besides, you can't just place a POV tag just because you don't like one sentence. The entire article is sourced. Removing tag. - Fedayee (talk) 16:41, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- This article isnt about who has historical right to NK but about the military of NK and therefore Neftchi has a point, alot of sentences are POV and there are only 2 sources in this article, more work is required to present a neutral article here, I re-added the tag.RetlawSnellac (talk) 12:39, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
