Parthasarathy Swami Sabha is the first Carnatic Music Sabha in South India. It is located in Mylapore, Chennai.
History
Mani Thirumalachariar formed the Sangeeta Vidwat Sabha in 1896 to foster musical activities. In 1900 it was renamed to Parthasarathy Swami Sabha. Chembai vaidyanatha Bhagavatar, Poochi Srinivasa Iyengar and Ariyakudi Ramanuja Iyengar have given over 100 performances there.
