Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is the name given by India to the portion of Jammu and Kashmir controlled by Pakistan and China. It is being illegally occupied by Pakistan.
Pakistan divided this area into three parts:
- Western parts of Jammu & Kashmir
- The Northern Areas, which are administered as a de facto 'Union Territory' and as an integral part of Pakistan, and
- A small part that was gifted to China's Aksai Chin.
