Bob Saget (born May 17, 1956 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is a US actor and stand-up comedian best known for his role as a father in the ABC sitcom Full House and as host to the TV home video show America's Funniest Home Videos. Contrary to his saccharine sweet appearance on Full House, he is also known for his raunchy, vulgar stand-up routines.

After a failed attempt at a sitcom in 2001, Saget has turned to directing.
