The Hattian were an ancient people who inhabited the land of Hatti in Asia Minor in the 3rd and the 2nd millenia BC. They spoke a non-Indo-European language of unknown affiliation called Hattic. They eventually merged with or were replaced by the Hittites, who spoke the Indo-European Hittite language.
The Hattians may have been connected to the Khaldi/Kardu, but it may be in little more than language and proximity.
