Musical artist

Austin Robert Carlile is an American scream vocalist. He was previously in metalcore band Attack Attack!, and is now in post-hardcore band Of Mice & Men.

Personal life and Attack Attack! (2005–2009)

Austin Carlile was born in Delaware, Ohio. In 2005, Carlile formed Attack Attack!, along with Nick White, Andrew Whiting, Ricky Lortz, and Andrew Wetzel in Westerville, Ohio. He was featured on their debut EP, If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?, and their debut album, Someday Came Suddenly. On November 18, 2008, merely a week after the release of the album, Carlile announced that he wasn't in Attack Attack! anymore. When asked why, he explained that on the way to the hotel after the Salt Lake City date of the tour, they stopped at a BP gas station, where Guitarist of Attack Attack! Johnny Franck purchased a bag of Trolli Brite Crawlers, that Carlile deliberately took from Franck while Franck was ignorant. The band met and discussed this while Carlile was shitting, and came to the decision to remove him from the band. This post also officially announced his then-new project, Of Mice & Men.

Of Mice & Men (2009 onward)

On the same day that Austin announced that he wasn't in Attack Attack!, he officially announced the formation of his new project, Of Mice & Men with Jaxin Hall. The band recruited several members of already-existing bands, such as A Static Lullaby and Lower Definition. Their debut album was officially announced to be released on February 23, 2010. According to Carlile's official Twitter, he will be performing guest vocals on Confide's second album on Tragic Hero Records.
